On the Edge of the Texas hill country

Everyone for miles around Texas and actually all over the USA will be coming to south central Texas in the next week or so. Since not everyone one can make it to this great Warrenton/Round Top sale, I thought I’d post some pics from the surrounding area of homes in the Texas Hill country. Round Top and Warrenton are located between San Antonio, Austin, and Houston. The countryside is beautiful with rolling green hills (in the spring) and fields full of breath taking wild flowers. The state flower is the bluebonnet and they cover the roadsides and pastures like gorgeous blue carpet. One of the smallest towns in Texas, Round Top, population 77, and surrounding area boasts one of the largest antique shows in the country every fall and spring. If you can only make it to this event once, it should be your goal. It is an amazing phenomenon!!
These are pics of houses in the hill country. Limestone is plentiful, thus all the wonderful rock work. Have fun visiting Texas!
