who’s the prettiest one of all? Good question. Here are a bunch (or do mirrors come in flocks?) mirrors we have at my house. Some we have close ups, so the details show up a little better. There are a couple of these that are gracing other peoples’ walls. So, now is the time for a little reflection…..
i am tall and stately
This is an old eastlake mirror.
good size rectangle mirror
PS. the goose is not loose in my house!!
kind of a french quarter look
This is an old iron mirror….very cool!
lots to reflect
another nice mirror
surrounded
Good size oval mirror.
the writing is on the wall…or mirror
Large ornate mirror.
fancy, fancy
Beautiful.
i ain’t what i used to be
But that’s what makes it special.
don’t fence (oops,frame) me in
Here is another great old etched mirror…pretty large.
i’m all broke up
This has that “glam” look.
simple and straight
Good sized mirror with old mirroring.
perfect little frenchy mirror
double the trouble
These really are mirrors. I was messing with the contrast/brightness and it seems I took out all the reflection. Poor things!
victorian i am
Fabulous old victorian wicker mirror with beveled glass.
Well, here they all are. There are actually a few more around here I didn’t get photographed. Maybe another time. Hope you enjoy our parade of mirrors. I will get these posted in our “check it out” list soon with prices and sizes. In the meantime, start reflectin’!!

Pingback from A parade of antique mirrors featuring an Eastlake and a wicker Victorian mirror | The Antique Victorian Furniture Blog
January 12th, 2009 at 12:20 pm[...] We don’t get a lot of information on the background of the mirrors, but the first in the parade is an old Eastlake mirror, as Marcie, the author of the blog tells us. The last is a Victorian mirror, wicker with beveled glass. Marcie promises to get these mirrors posted in their “check it out” list with prices and sizes. Click here to see the selection. [...]

Love the mirrors. Aren’t they just the best for adding visual space? (Sounds like I know what I’m talking about, huh?) Tn’T
