Here is another nifty container that could be used for lots of things. I particularly like the front pattern on this. The price on this is $39.00

This is an old acrylic trash can,  but could be used for lots of different things. (magazines, flowers, toilet paper, umbrellas, punch bowl or?) The price is $14.00.

Thought it would be fun to put up all this acrylic stuff together. We love this look…..kind of a retro glam look. Since it is clear visually it doesn’t take up alot of space, but it still packs a punch. Plus the items that are containers can be changed just by what they “contain”.  Many of these would make a wonderful buffet set up….like for a wedding!? What do you think?

Because they are clear some are hard to get a good pic of. so hope you can see them.

3 acrylic columns columns acrylic 3

These are wonderful old acrylic columns from a home in Highland Park in Dallas. They are quite unusual, but like I said not easy to photograph.

acrylic graduated boxes

acrylic shelf with bottles

The top pic  is 4 graduated boxes with lids.

This bottom one is hard to see, but it is an acrylic shelf holding all those items. The back is about 7″-8″ high and the lip on the front is about 2″ high. It is hanging on the wall.

The top piece is an old trash can. (great for holding TP in the bathroom.

I’m not sure what the bottom piece was for, but it would make a great vase. It’s close to the same size as the trash can. I love the front on it.

acrylic tray w cookies large shell with glass balls

These are both large acrylic shells. Aren’t they neat?

glass lamp    lamp glass squares

This, of course, is the same lamp….just a little different angle. Now, this lamp is glass not acrylic. It just looked like it should go with these pics.

I will add these items to our “check it out” category and list the prices. I’m not going to get to it tonight, tho. It’s getting late and I have blogs to read! :)

BTW, check out Mindy’s blog. She’s celebrating her 100th post. Way to go, Mindy!!

P.S. Once again you should be able to comment. Sorry we are sooo much trouble!! :(

Family has gone and now I must get back to work! I love being around all my grandchildren, BUT I can’t say I manage to get a whole lot accomplished. Does anyone else have that problem or am I just inefficient? Life is short, tho, and I hate missing these precious yrs,, so most the time they win out over business! :)

And this is only 2 of them!!

madi's ice pic

beautiful, huh?

This is what it looked like at my house yesterday. Lots of ice, but, fortunately the streets were too warm to freeze over.

We have some great old acrylic items I will try to get up by tomorrow. Will try to get back to business here. I’m really not trying to run a “grandma” post.
