These pics are from Tuesday nite. They were taken by either me or my daughter. All the really good ones are on snakelovers blog. We’ll post a few here and there to show you what we did that nite.

We will be posting pics from the show later today or by tomorrow. In the meantime, you can check out primitiques ‘n poetry. Mindy has posted some and there is a link to the wonderful photos "snakelover" took that nite.  Here is one, tho, just to give you a hint until I do more.

even, tho, it was 8 days ago. I’m not very blog savvy! :(   I had to finally get Mindy of primitiques and poetry to explain to me how to post it on my blog. She did……TWICE!  I’m real quick. We want to thank "the other theresa" from time-worn interiors for being so sweet in giving us this.  It’s our first one, so we are excited and honored! Thanks TOT!

award

Since Mayron and I are business partners, I’m going to name 6 things about us we have in common.

1. both our middle names are marie

2. we both have a grandson named jack

3. we both love carrot cake

4. we both love to visit cool nurseries, and beautiful parks when we travel

5. we were both born in months that start with M

6. we both love using white, greys, and neutrals with crusty, old unusual pieces

But, most of all we both believe the bible to be the written word that reveals the Living Word….our Savior.

We are passing this award on to these blogs. We enjoy looking at them and admire their creativity,

1. Snakelover

2. Marley & Lockyer

3.Sweet Pea

4. Laurie Anna’s

5. Queen of Tarte

We must be…my back aches! Won’t be long now until Mayron lets you all in at the precise time! :) There is still some stuff to do, but most of it now has to do with the food. We’ll serve mulled cider to help warm you all up. Even if it’s nice during the day, it gets pretty chilly at night. Here’s a couple more pics. I’ve taken better, but I’m trying not to reveal too much!! Check the sidebar for pertinent details.

Brrr

Remember the last show……well how could you? We had 8" of snow here in Argyle. It looked like a winter wonderland. BUT, no one could get in or out of my driveway. I think the only snow at this show will be the fake kind, so no worries!

We will be giving away a door prize at our show. We hope everyone signs up! The drawing will be at 8:30 and as they say “you do not need to be present to win”. We’ve never had a Christmas show (albeit early) before, so we thought it might be a fun thing to do. We’ll have the details at the show and of course the prize!!  Only 5 more days and still lots to do….like catch all the dust bunnies!

We are adding some more pics from the industrial sale. This time from Parkhouse Antiques in Dallas. We are always just amazed at the wonderful merchandise Lindra and Alan carry. It is SO good. So take a look…

Tomorrow I will try to post a few more sneak peaks!

This is the pic on our mailer. Since we e-mail alot of folks not everyone will see this. The lady at Kinko’s asked me what medium I used to paint the picture. I had to explain that it was 3 different items, and we sell them not paint them. :)

These pics at the industrial sale are from Gina and Alan at Country Garden Antiques. Their shop looked just fabulous that day. Don’t know how they got it together so fast after Warrenton/Round Top. They sure did, tho, so enjoy the pics!

Thought I’d post 2 or 3 preview pics of merchandise that will be at the show. Mayron and I had a big work day here on Wed. cleaning, moving, planning, etc. Seems there is always more to do than you think as you near the end. We will "git ‘er done" though. Hope everyone is saving Tue nite 11-18 for some shopping, snacks, and seeing friends. See you soon!

We had to make a delivery to someone in McKinney today who is opening a store. Boy, were they busy! The face of the McKinney square is sure changing. They are doing tons of work down there…on the streets, sidewalks, and buildings. Alot of new businesses coming in. I hope we don’t lose all the antique and vintage stores, tho. We will be posting some pics of one of the stores on the square that still sells wonderful old stuff. That’s coming soon. Also, when you are in McKinney you need to eat at Spoons. They serve great food and it’s a fun place to go. Karen, the owner, is also adding on a bakery called "the garage".  Yum!!

We are adding 3 new links to our site, so make sure you check them out. We are expecting to get some photos of new merchandise from Mindy of Primitiques ‘n Poetry. But in the meantime, we will go ahead and link to her. When we get the photos we will give you our "version" of Mindy and how she knows us (especially Mayron). Coming soon, I promise!

The other 2 links we are adding are Lillie of Junk Palace and Maggie of The Veranda. We stopped by to visit them at their spot at Canton this past Wednesday. You can find them at roads 43 and 43A by the creek. They have really nifty stuff and their space was fixed sooo cute. We have actually been shopping with Lillie for a few years now. Maggie, we are just getting to know. We did take of few pics of their stuff, just to give you a taste of what they have.
