Yesterday mayron and i spent the morning with debbie from talking white trash. Sorry i didn’t get any pictures, but we did buy some cool merchandise from her. She has some cool stuff and i promise we didn’t buy it all, so check her out! I’m posting a few more pics from past shows. The one i wanted to put up i couldn’t find.(and i just saw it…oh well, another day).

We’ve had some people try to comment on here, but they have been unsuccessful. Well, we’re showing our ignorance, but right now we don’t know what to tell you. Hopefully by the weekend we’ll have time to figure out how to do this. You can always e-mail us if you would like. Sorry!! I’m going to put up a pretty picture as a peace offering.

This is the poolhouse we did for the 2007 Parade of Homes. As you can see, they were working like crazy to get the outside ready for the opening the next day. By the way, these "parades" also benefit the Make A Wish foundation. This is a wonderful organization. We speak from experience. And we will try to figure out the "comments" part as soon as we can.

Those who aren’t familiar with Texas heat and humidity might not understand my fascination with this wonderful cooler, drier weather. It is just that…wonderful…after a long hot summer. I know more heat is on the way, but we enjoy it while we can.  I’m going to post a few pics from the "parade of homes" we had the privilege of participating in in Mckinney, Tx and Frisco, Tx. in 2006 and 2007. We were given this opportunity by laura and debbie from dela designs. It was so fun working with them.

By the way, I e-mailed debbie (talking white trash) to give her our blog address. She added some pics and those very kind words about us. What a gal!! Thanks, debbie!

We’ve been trying to customize things on here, and as you can tell by the amount of time between the dates, we are slow! My husband and I have been working on this and apparently we don’t know a lot.   Oh, well, we’ll eventually get there. In the meantime, I’m adding pics of some more things Mayron and I have done over the years.

Wow, we are new to this world of blogging. Hope you all hang with us as we learn to negotiate around this site. We are trying to customize this, so it might take us awhile to work out all the details. Soon, as we become more proficient we will have all the blanks filled in. (we hope)….if you really can teach an "old dog new tricks?"

I’m marcie and my dear friend and business partner is mayron. We have a design/antique/ event planning business. We have been in business together for just short of 12 yrs.  We started out doing First Monday in Canton, Tx and the Buchanan show in Dallas. Since that time we have done Zapp Hall during Warrenton/Round Top. Eventually we started our own show there (actually in Fayetteville) called Possibilities". Now, we mostly do public and private shows out of my house, plus various projects in between. It’s been a fun and crazy ride that we look forwad to continuing.  Along the way we have met many wonderful and talented people. And, a few crazy ones too! (you know who you are!). LOL Please enjoy some of our past in these photos.
